For these belt conveyor systems, TUSA uses standard models from its range and incorporates the slewing or radial stacking feature, which allows them to make kidney-shaped stock piles.

TUSA converts its range of belt conveyors into this type of system.

Determining the type of conveyor depends on a prior technical study that takes into account such factors as: Production, characteristics of the material to be conveyed, performance requisites, incline, distance between supports, etc.

Classification Trommels

TUSA then selects the most suitable type of conveyor for this use.

The main advantage of these conveyor systems is their pivoting or slewing movement, which allows large stock piles to be made from a single loading point, with reduced conveyor length.

It also has the advantage of being able make separate piles of different types of materials, since the slewing movement of the conveyor can be interrupted at several points along its path, allowing stock piles of different materials to be made within the same kidney-shaped area.

The slewing of these conveyors can be manually, electrically or hydraulically powered.

In addition to the slewing movement, these conveyors can optionally incorporate a lifting or lowering movement, preventing breakage of certain materials that require discharging at a lower height. Purposefully reducing the discharge height also reduces the release of dust by certain materials.

The control of these movements can be programmed to function by means of proximity and motion sensors, among others.
